Somehow We Made it Home
We were missed - just ask the dog.
Greetings from home.
I was in one car or another for 11 hours today, so this one will be short because the child is in bed and I’m ready too. The drive back home was uneventful.- I had to take an Uber for an hour to go pickup the now repaired car and then drive back the wrong way to go pickup BW from her conference before we could make her way home.
Then we just did what google said and drove home without issue, which was nice.
BW won an award for her work today and I won an award for the most miles in an Uber this weekend as a rider rather than a driver. At least the driving part is somewhat profitable.
The child was of course happy to see us, but after the novelty wore off it was back to the usual:
”Hey Dad! My phone does not connect to the internet and I can’t watch YouTube Kids”
Boy, I thought we had it bad - but no YouTube Kids for a whole weekend? It was rough - she had to watch Amazon Kids instead!!
Now that’s a rough time. Can you imagine?
We’re back home and back to normal even if the current normal has no WiFi
TH and Co.
