Snow Day
Nature's way of telling you to take a break.
Stay inside and keep warm
That’s what the email from the school board said for us to do today so we took them to heart and did just that.
We did absolutely nothing. It was awesome.
The child had enough screen time to last her for the rest of the month.
BW napped on the couch in the am and then worked in the afternoon.
I stayed home as I’m apt to do and thought about writing a lot. I thought so hard I had to stop thinking and have a nap in the afternoon. It was rough.
I did venture out in the 12 degree weather to take the trash out to the curb and then I scurried right back inside because it’s too cold out there.
Tomorrow is a big question mark for school tomorrow but I would guess they have the road plowed enough for the buses by tomorrow morning. At least that’s our hope.
We were so lazy today that even the child’s bedtime was easy because it would be too much work to protest and after a while not doing anything is hard work and we all need to go to bed.
Tomorrow, we move more and write more.
Weather permitting, of course.
Stay Warm,
TH and Co.
