Look at the Hour!
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Edition.
Both ladies were up real late tonight.
I blame…. um, me? Yea, it was probably me.
Time got away from us tonight:
BW went to a craft night - aka little old ladies knitting knitting club at the sme spot that the child went for craft school when she was off last week. Crafts are big here.
The child was watching YouTube Kids forever because it’s Friday - and that means all you can eat and watch night.
Me? I got lost in the computer as I do. So much to learn and read and screw around with on the internets on a cold February night.
Somehow, Somehow time went by real fast and it was 8:00pm. I gave the child more than one ten minute warning for bed and finally at about 8:50 I was putting her to bed. Not great, but not bad for a Friday Night where the child and I have been known to break a rule or two.
With 10 minutes until BW was supposed to come home, I suggested to the child that she may as well stay awake for ten minutes or so until she comes home and we can see what she made
We waited…
and waited..
and waited…
Finally about 9:50 BW entered through the door to the both of us with hands on our hips asking BW WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!
The crafty ladies were having such a good time that they too lost track of time and so BW was late getting home.
Finally, at a little after 10PM I managed to get the child in bed. Here’s hoping she sleeps in.
Oh - the craft? BW made a blanket!
All is good now as I have a quiet house, I’m full of pizza and I have a child that’s sleeping soundly under a homemade blanket.
Looking at the forecast for the weekend - it looks like we’re going to need that blanket yet.
