We’ve been thinking about getting a new TV. Ours is hardly on, except for watching SpongeBob so we figured why not stimulate this crappy economy by buying what could be the last TV we could ever afford with 100 percent tarriffs coming down the pike.
We didn’t know what TV to get. The Samsungs and LG’s and especially the Sony’s were so expensive so I said to BW that we’re going to have to lower our expectations a bit when it comes to getting any new technology.
Thankfully, the child the answer for us right her under our noses:
I present to you our new TV:
It’s an older model and it was “open box” so we got a really good deal on it.
It’s a scratch and dent model too but we don’t care as the screen seems to be in pretty good shape except for the creases and marker marks. It comes with 2 channels: One called “DAD”. and one that is undecipherable so I’m not sure about both channels.
I’m not sure there’s enough content for 24 hours of DAD content - heck, I can barely bang out a few sentences here before I run out of ideas. This new video age is going to be tricky.
But we really did get a good deal on this TV: I mean, it came with a remote and look at the selection:
We get:
Netflix
Spongebob
Loudhouse (I’m not sure about this one)
Disney
Paramount
This is all the channels one needs and we’re so happy with our purchase.
But what if there’s a fight about what to watch at the same time?
Not to worry, somebody can always use the new tablet:
Keeping up with the latest technologies,
